The world needs ocean advocates & activists who are resilient, resourced and regulated. We’ve become so fixated on the solutions that we’ve forgotten about the incredible humans committed to making them happen.
Even as ocean-focused incubators and accelerators emerge, they tend to focus on tech solutions, large-scale projects & for-profit ocean startups. Many of the networking opportunities are only available to those who live in large cities or who can afford to self-fund travel to conferences and events.
This results in a gap - energy, training and resources flowing into certain sectors and demographics whilst others are desperately trying to keep community projects afloat with burnout becoming a serious side effect.
We know there’s no shortage of smart, passionate, and committed individuals working to protect the ocean. But too often, they lack access to the specific skills and support systems that would allow them to reach their potential. They’re stretched thin, working with limited capacity and minimal resources.
Our goal is to provide the support, practical tools & community to ensure those at the frontlines of ocean conservation can create meaningful impact, without burning out.
The Blue Campus is a learning space designed to support our community to sustain momentum, scale impact, and take good care of themselves.
It brings together our programmes, residencies and workshops under one banner, grounded in two essential pillars: Strategy and Stoke.
We know that a clear, well-designed impact strategy, paired with strong systems, can transform good intentions into lasting outcomes. And a regulated nervous system and a deep connection to nature help us stay grounded, calm, and kind
Blue Campus is designed for -
